Vittoria 3C is a layering process using 3 separate compounds on the same tread. The different properties of each compound, including "Graphene 2.0", allow for enhanced experience in all conditions.
Instead of plain-mixed graphene with rubber compounds, Vittoria uses very specific and very different amounts of graphene in each of the different compounds of the tire. Vittoria can apply Graphene in a way that can provide a performance boost specifically for speed, wet grip, durability and puncture resistance. They also say that with their latest version, Graphene 2.0, they were able to target very specific metrics to be developed using the latest materials. For a road or cross country oriented tire, they could use some graphene, which not only helps reduce the weight of the tire but also reduces rolling resistance.
GRAPHENE 2.0 (G 2.0) Graphene interacts with rubber by partially filling the space between rubber molecules. It takes the original Graphene compound base from Vittoria and functionalizes improvements in performance for each specific application. In other words, when first-generation graphene compounds raise the bar equally, Graphene 2.0 fixes each performance metric and raises it disproportionately to the others.
