TECHNOLOGY
Graphene 2.0: The key feature of graphene is that it enhances the innovative properties of Vittoria tires by changing the performance of rubber. In version 2.0, the composition depends on the tire type and requirements to increase the desired performance. For MTB tires, this means Graphene 2.0 improves grip on wet surfaces. So with this rubber compound you don't have to compromise when speed, grip, durability and wear resistance are required.
Nylon Carcass:
Nylon is a tough and durable synthetic fiber traditionally used for rugged tire casings. Synthetic fiber may be very light, but it is not as flexible as Corespun. Regardless of the TPI number, each specification applies to the relevant price-performance scale. All offer Vittoria essentials: comfort, speed and good handling.
4 Compound (4C):
4 Compound was developed specifically by Vittoria to create a tire without compromise. Vittoria 4C consists of a coating process that combines 4 different rubber compounds in a single tread. Both the dorsal and lateral parts consist of a base and surface layer. This makes it possible to place the graphene rubber composition exactly where it is needed, depending on the type of tire. Additionally, durability and puncture protection are improved as the solid base compound resists punctures.
TNT:
These tires do not have a butyl inner layer with additional sidewall protection, but instead feature a strong nylon fabric and wear-resistant rubber compound. The bead is suitable for both standard and tubeless rims. Vittoria TNT (Tubular/Tubular) tires are up to 100 g lighter than conventional tubeless tyres, despite reinforced sidewalls with great cut resistance. Ride tubeless on UST rims with Pit Stop or liquid Latex Pit Stop. TNT tires offer better cornering, faster rolling and fewer punctures, even at lower inflation pressures.
XC Race Tubeless Ready:
This casing is designed to make off-road tires more durable, stronger and lighter. Vittoria's TLR construction also offers the highest level of puncture protection on the sidewalls. The cord is made of aramid, which makes the tire foldable – it also saves weight.
Tubeless tires have many advantages: you can drive with less air pressure. This provides better traction and reduces rolling resistance. The risk of punctures is also reduced where there is no inner tube. The bead of Maxxis TR tires is completely covered with a rubber layer, like a true UST tubeless tire. Maxxis TR tires use a standard casing and require the use of liquid sealant to make them airtight. As a result, tubeless installation is successful for all rims of standard sizes during initial inflation and with very little fluid. Tubeless(UST) compatible rims, Tubeless(UST)compatible valves,Tubeless(UST) rim tape are required for Tubeless Ready TR tires to be used tubeless. and requires sealing fluid. Sealing fluid is not required for tubeless Tubeless UST tires, but is recommended for greater puncture protection. Installation should only be done by qualified personnel.
