The general application process involves the following steps: 

1. Preparation: Shampoo the hair only if it's exceptionally oily or dirty. Towel-dry the hair. Apply a protein spray filler (like Keune Vital Nutrition Protein Spray) as a pre-treatment to protect the hair and balance porosity.
2. Straightening Cream Application: Section the hair and apply the straightening cream with a non-metallic brush, starting at the nape and keeping it 0.5 cm away from the scalp. Smooth the hair with fingers or a wide-tooth comb during the processing time (which is typically 5 to 20 minutes, and never more than 25 minutes) to ensure it stays straight.
3. Rinse and Dry: Rinse the hair thoroughly with warm water for at least 10 minutes, then carefully blow-dry completely.
4. Ironing: Flat iron small sections of hair (6 to 8 times per section) using a straightening iron set to approximately 180°C (350°F), starting from the nape.
5. Neutralization Cream Application: Apply the neutralization cream section by section, starting at the nape, and comb or smooth the hair with fingers. Leave it on for 2-3 minutes.
