Inspection work before use
1. Before each use, latch the Dive Case without the camera inserted and check for leaks by following these instructions.
-Slowly submerge the latched Dive Case in water. Stop and remove if air bubbles escape from the case.
-While underwater, operate buttons for several minutes to ensure there are no air bubbles.
-Once the leak check is complete, remove the Dive Case from the water and dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.
-Open Dive Case and ensure inside is dry.
2. When sealing the Dive Case, ensure there are no foreign objects preventing the case and rubber seal being completely secured on both the body and rim.
3. Do not have the case open in locations with sand, dust and other particulate matter, as this may damage both the cameraand case.
4. After latching the Dive Case, double-check that the seal is completely secure on both body and rim.
5.The Dive Case is not shock-resistant. Strong vibrations impacts and applied pressure may damage the case and reduce the waterproofing performance.
Notes
1.Do not open the Dive Case while it is wet.
2. After using product in salt water, remove the camera and soak Dive Case in fresh water for 5-10 minutes. Then, rinse gently under a faucet. Do not apply a high-pressure, single-direction water flow as this could cause a leakage.
3. Ensure there is no sand on the Dive Case before drying as it may scratch the surface.
4. Use a soft, dry cloth to ensure any residual salt and moisture has been removed from the Dive Case. Do not directly apply heat to the case as this may cause damage.
5. Do not clean the Dive Case with soap, natural detergent, alcohol cleaning products or organic solvents as this may degrade the case's waterproofing.
6. Avoid contact with cosmetic products such as creams, lotions and makeup to prevent discoloring and staining the Dive Case.
7. Do not store the Dive Case in a hot and humid environment. In particular, do not leave it inside a hot car.
8. Store the Dive Case in a dry, well-ventilated location.
