What is the correct power-on procedure?
A: There's a power button on the top right corner of the device. Press and hold it for three seconds to power it on (Note: The TF1 system memory card must be inserted).
Please explain the correct charging steps and how to check if the device is fully charged.
A: Use a Type-C cable to plug into the charging port on the bottom of the device. A 5V 1.5A charger, or any standard charger under 30W, will work. The light will turn off or green when fully charged.
Can I download other games? How do I do that?
A: You can add games to supported emulators using a card reader or a computer. The ROMS folder on the memory card contains files for many emulators. For example, GBA games are stored in the GBA folder.
What actions can cause the battery to drain faster?
A: Turning the brightness and volume up to the maximum, and playing large, heavily rendered games like those on PSP devices, can cause the device to drain faster.
If the device won't power on, how can I troubleshoot and recover?
A: Check if the charging function is working, or if the memory card is damaged. Try re-inserting the memory card and restarting the device. If it still doesn't work, try re-burning the system card.
What should I do if the buttons don't work?
A: There's a small R button below the power button on the right side, which is the reset button. Pressing it will restart the device.
The handheld is fully charged (green light appears), but the power button still won't turn on. What's the cause, and how can I fix it?
A: Check if the charging function is working, or if the memory card is damaged. Try re-inserting the memory card and restarting the device. If it still doesn't work, try re-burning the system card (the system download is available on the ANBERNIC website).
