• This pressure cooker features an all-important seal ring (Gasket) that allows the pressure to be maintained in the cooker and keeps it airtight so that the food is cooked well. Compression type Gasket is food grade nitrile rubber (NBR) that does not impart color, taste or odor to the food, releasing steam if vent tube is blocked.
• High quality metallic safety valve fitted at the top of the lid ensures release of steam if pressure exceeds 2kg/sq.cm.Ergonomic Bakelite cool-touch handles prevents transfer of heat making it easy to hold and grip while cooking.
• The lid is equipped with a Gasket Release System, and the Gasket Release Vent System that releases the excess pressure accumulated in the cooker. In case there is any blockage of vent tube, gasket will bulge and steam will release through the slot and the hole at the top.
• Caution: Please ensure the cooker is not filled over 2/3rd full and use enough water to prevent the gasket from burning dry.
