These Mexican blankets have been around for decades for good reason-- They are awesome blankets. Great for the beach for camping Yoga a day at the park or just to keep in your bedroom or living room. Great to keep in the car for that sponatenous day trip. Each blanket is made on wooden looms direct from Mexico and as such expect slight variations in the colors or patterns. Beware that many other blankets offered here on Amazon are made in India of questionable materials. Not ours all are directly made in Tlaxcala Mexico using Fair Trade practices and using recycled materials. Your purchase keeps these materials from ending up in a landfill. These blankets are machine washable and get softer with each subsequent wash so that they only get better with time. Please note the first few washes there will be a bit of lint this is normal and will subside after the first few washes. We recommend hang dry but they can also be dried in dryer with no or low heat. We give a portion of each sale back to the rural community to assist with education of girls in Tlaxcala and Veracruz Mexico.
